Abstract： Objective:To develop a portable material management system for temporary depot during maritime medical service tasks.Methods:The management system is developed based on Android system，in Java language，which comprises five main modules：human-machine interaction module，material inbound and outbound records module，material group management module，material data management module，and database. It incorporates radio frequency identification（RFID）tag and barcode scanning as well as data management functions.Results:The system enables real-time dynamic management of inventory of each material group，facilitating fast material location queries，storage positioning，and inventory checks.Conclusion:The system is portable，allowing for flexible and convenient deployment，and substantially improving material management efficiency. Therefore，it is suitable for temporary depot in maritime medical service tasks.
